More than 30,000,000 people in the US and 200 million worldwide have a Thyroid Disorder Most affected are women. Some estimates are over 50 million in US and over 200 million worldwide, and growing.

Estimates vary widely as most patients are misdiagnosed or undiagnosed because doctors don't know what they are looking for.

Thyroid disease is also an autoimmune disease. This means that over 27 million people have one or more of the over 105 known autoimmune diseases.

A Passion For Food; An Intolerance For Gluten, Colorado Woman Launches New Line Of Gluten-free Mixes

Mary Capone took her emergency and changed it into her emergence when, as a gourmet cook, she was diagnosed with celiac disease eight years ago, becoming one of what are now about 3.1 million people in the U.S. and 70 million worldwide who cannot tolerate gluten.

The inability to tolerate gluten — a protein strand found in many cereals, grains and bread — even in minute amounts gave the self-described lover of food a whole new focus. The thought of life without fresh bread or her favorite pasta dishes was unacceptable, she said last week.

Whether you have a mild or celiac reaction to gluten, thyroid condition or not, your body may be better with less or no gluten.

Read more of Mary’s great story and find her products in store or online.

Thanks, Mary!
