Thyroid Health and The Year of the Horse! Happy Chinese New Year!

animals - horses x 2

According to the Chinese Zodiac,

the Year of 2014 is the Year of the Horse,

which begins today, January 31, 2014,

and ends on February 18, 2015.

Taking charge of our thyroid health is necessary to get our lives back. Using the powerful and steadfast characteristics of the horse is a great metaphor for how we can overcome many of the over 70 symptoms of Hashimoto’s disease and hypothyroidism.

The Horse is the seventh sign of the Chinese Zodiac, which consists of 12 Animal Signs.

In Chinese culture, the Horse is a symbol of

  • nobility,
  • class,
  • speed and
  • perseverance,

all great characteristics each of us needs and can learn to exhibit daily, especially to help heal our bodies and brains from thyroid dysfuction.

WERE YOU BORN IN THE YEAR OF THE HORSE?

People born in the Year of the Horse are smart, fabulous speakers who have a gift for getting through to other people. They believe that their aim in life is “to seek individual freedom and happiness.”

Can you get around taking medicine. We travel a lot and if I move and it’s not available or to expensive?? Then what?

      Hi Christina,

That question will ultimately be best answered by your thyroid trained practitioner, regarding if you have enough thyroid hormone creating and working in your body to not take thyroid hormone replacement meds.

Very few can go without it.

If you don’t have a thyroid trained practitioner, you can find one near you here – http://thyroidu.com/practitioners/

Is your course still available even though it is over? My 12 year old daughter wasvdiagnoised with hypoyhyroidism and I have celiac disease and she does better when on my diet so I believe it is the diet causing her condition. I am looking for a natural cure to the chagrine of her doctor. We are headec to a more natural friendly specialist that uses the more natural product from a pigs thyroid.
