Whether you are hyperthyroid or hypothyroid, you have a long list of symptoms that can be life crushing. From mild depression and fatigue to not being able to get out of bed or stay awake and chronic pain and depression, to name a few.

1. SEPARATING FACT FROM FICTION
You need to be aware of all the symptoms that are not “normal” or “I’m just getting older” issues. You need to know that they are directly related to your thyroid dysfunction and most can be healed 100%!
Plus, symptoms that we brush off as “I’m just getting older” aren’t true. If your body’s defenses, immune system and hormone system are compromised due to your thyroid not working, that’s the problem. We (at least in the US) blame a lot of our problems on “aging” when in fact aging symptoms are caused by the same reasons thyroid problems are flaring!
- Lack of healthy nutrition
- Not enough exercise and movement
The good news is, these are reasons that we have control over and can change to alter our lifestyle to match a pattern of health and wellness versus chronic pain and suffering.
2. SELF ACCOUNTABILITY
Tracking helps you see what’s getting better and what’s worse so that you can figure out what you might be doing that is good for you or that is making your condition worse.
3. HELP YOUR DOCTOR
Help your doctor help you. Your thyroid trained practitioner will want to see your list of symptoms, what’s worse and what’s better too, so that they can figure out how to best help you. Going into any appointment with them is a waste of your money and prolongs their helping you if you just say vague statements like, “I’m okay. I’m fine. I don’t know, I guess I’ve been really tired.”
4. HELP YOUR HEALTH COACH
Help your Health Coach help you better. When I work with my thyroid clients I can help them faster when I know what’s going on specifically, not just in general or vaguely.
